urodzona w Krakowie, gdzie ukończyła VI Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Adama Mickiewicza. Absolwentka Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej (1998-2003) oraz kierunku Master in Interior Architecture na Griffith College Dublin – ukończonego z wyróżnieniem (2005-2006). W 2013 roku w macierzystym Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej obroniła dysertację doktorską pt. „Przeobrażenia i wielopostaciowość współczesnych przestrzeni publicznych” pod kierunkiem prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Wojciecha Kosińskiego. Recenzentami pracy byli: prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Barbara Gronostajska oraz prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Andrzej Wyżykowski.
Doświadczenie zawodowe zdobywała w Polsce i za granicą m.in. w pracowniach Arkona, IMB Asymetria czy Valode & Pistre Architectes (w tym ok. 6-letnie doświadczenie na stanowisku architekta w irlandzkich biurach architektonicznych, m.in.: Darmody Architects i RKD Architects. Posiada uprawnienia architektoniczne w specjalizacji W latach 2013-15 zyskała dodatkowe doświadczenie w roli redaktorki prowadzącej w ogólnopolskim czasopiśmie Architektura & Biznes. W 2015 roku została laureatką grantu Ministerstwa Kultury „Młoda Polska”. W latach 2015-2022 prowadziła wykłady i ćwiczenia w Instytucie Geografii ówczesnego Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego im. KEN na kierunku gospodarka przestrzenna. Jej doświadczenie projektowe dotyczy szerokiego spektrum projektów koncepcyjnych, budowlanych i wykonawczych dla obiektów mieszkaniowych jedno- i wielorodzinnych, komercyjno-usługowych, sportowych, użyteczności publicznej oraz opieki zdrowotnej, a także wnętrz. Od 2019 roku jest członkinią eksperckiego Zespołu ds. powszechnej edukacji architektonicznej przy obecnym Narodowym Instytucie Architektury i Urbanistyki. Od 2021 roku jest kierowniczką ogólnopolskich, międzyinstytucjonalnych studiów podyplomowych „Archi:kultura – edukator architektoniczny”.
Jej zainteresowania naukowe są związane przede wszystkim z szeroko rozumianym zagadnieniem przeobrażeń współczesnych przestrzeni publicznych w miastach i poza nimi. W zakresie jej zainteresowań badawczych i praktycznych znajduje się także idea powszechnej edukacji architektonicznej. Jej dorobek naukowy jest stale rozwijany. Jest autorką kilkudziesięciu tekstów (artykułów, recenzji książek itp.) popularyzatorskich w czasopismach takich jak m.in.: Architektura & Biznes, Archiwolta, Zawód: Architekt itp. Bierze czynny udział w licznych konferencjach naukowych krajowych i międzynarodowych. Na Wydziale Architektury prowadzi zajęcia z projektowania w języku polskim i angielskim.
Born in Kraków, where she graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz VI Secondary School. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology (1998–2003) and of the Master in Interior Architecture programme at Griffith College Dublin, completed with distinction (2005–2006). In 2013, at her alma mater—the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology—she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Transformations and the Multifaceted Nature of Contemporary Public Spaces”, supervised by prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Wojciech Kosiński. The dissertation was reviewed by prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Barbara Gronostajska and prof. dr hab. inż. arch Andrzej Wyżykowski.
She gained professional experience in Poland and abroad, including work in architectural studios such as Arkona, IMB Asymetria, and Valode & Pistre Architectes, as well as approximately six years of experience as an architect in Irish architectural practices, including Darmody Architects and RKD Architects. She holds architectural professional qualifications in the relevant specialisation. In 2013–2015 she gained additional experience as managing editor of the nationwide magazine Architektura & Biznes. In 2015 she was awarded the “Młoda Polska” (Young Poland) grant from the Ministry of Culture. In the years 2015–2022 she conducted lectures and design studios at the Institute of Geography of the then Pedagogical University of the National Education Commission (KEN) in Kraków, in the Spatial Management programme.
Her design experience covers a wide spectrum of conceptual, building-permit and detailed design projects for single- and multi-family housing, commercial, mixed-use, sports buildings, public-use, healthcare buildings, as well as interior architecture. Since 2019 she has been a member of the expert Team for Civic Architectural Education at the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning. Since 2021 she has served as the Head of the nationwide, inter-institutional postgraduate studies “Archi:culture – Architectural Education Specialist”.
Her academic interests primarily concern the broad issue of the transformation of contemporary public spaces in cities and beyond. Her research and professional interests also encompass civic architectural education. Her academic output is continuously developing. She is the author of several dozen texts, including articles and book reviews, published in journals such as Architektura & Biznes, Archiwolta and Zawód: Architekt, among others. She actively participates in numerous national and international academic conferences. At the Faculty of Architecture, she teaches design courses in Polish and English.
