Katedra Urbanistyki i Architektury Struktur Miejskich Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej ma zaszczyt zaprosić na wykład profesora Carlosa Marmolejo, który odbędzie się 11 czerwca 2026 r. o godz. 17:00 w sali 215, ul. Podchorążych 1 (II p.). Wykład odbędzie się w języku angielskim w ramach pobytu Carlosa Marmolejo jako profesora wizytującego na Wydziale Architektury PK.
Profesor zwyczajny w Barcelońskiej Szkole Architektury (ETSAB), dr Carlos Marmolejo jest pracownikiem naukowym w Centrum Polityki Gruntowej i Wycen (CPSV) na Politechnice Katalońskiej (UPC). Pełni również funkcję redaktora naczelnego czasopisma „Architecture, City and Environment”, które znajduje się w pierwszym kwartylu rankingu Scimago SJR i drugim kwartylu rankingu JCI Web of Science. W 2024 r. uruchomił EnerValor Knowledge Hub, inicjatywę mającą na celu wypełnienie luki między badaniem rynku nieruchomości a interdyscyplinarnymi badaniami nad zrównoważonym rozwojem poprzez rozpowszechnianie opartych na dowodach spostrzeżeń wśród szerszego grona odbiorców. Obecnie kieruje Katedrą Technologii Architektonicznej w trzech wydziałach: ETSAB, EPSEB i ETSAV na Politechnice Katalońskiej (UPC).
Był promotorem 17 prac doktorskich i ponad 90 prac magisterskich. Jego badania obejmują takie dziedziny jak: urbanistyka, ekonomia gruntów, wycena nieruchomości, gospodarka gruntami, planowanie przestrzenne, polityka mieszkaniowa, rozwój regionalny i zrównoważony rozwój rynków nieruchomości. Profesor Marmolejo opublikował ponad 100 recenzowanych artykułów Jest również autorem lub współautorem 22 książek i rozdziałów w książkach.
Jest członkiem Hiszpańskiej Rady Narodowej ds. Badań Naukowych (CNEAI. Jest również uznany przez Meksykański Narodowy System Naukowców (SNI). Ponadto jest założycielem i współorganizatorem Międzynarodowego Kongresu Miasta i Terytorium Wirtualnego (CTV), który odbywa się na przemian w Europie i Ameryce. W dziedzinie badań stosowanych profesor Marmolejo doradzał władzom lokalnym, regionalnym i krajowym w zakresie planowania urbanistycznego i regionalnego, gospodarki gruntami i wyceny nieruchomości.
Jego międzynarodowe zaangażowanie akademickie obejmuje liczne pobyty w charakterze visiting profesora w takich instytucjach jak: Politechnika Krakowska, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Uniwersytet w Guadalajarze, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid oraz Autonomiczny Uniwersytet Nuevo León. Odbył również wizyty naukowe na Uniwersytecie Salford, w Shenzhen i na Politechnice w Hongkongu.
Jest aktywnym członkiem Międzynarodowego Komitetu OECD ds. opracowania Globalnego Kompendium Polityki Wykorzystania Wartości Gruntów, uczestniczy w pracach Europejskiej Grupy Stowarzyszeń Rzeczoznawców (TEGoVA) i posiada tytuł uznanego europejskiego rzeczoznawcy (REV).
Chair of Urbanism and City Structure Architecture Faculty of Architecture Cracow University of Technology is pleased to invite you to attend a lecture by Professor Carlos Marmolejo that will take place on 11th June 2026 at 17:00 in the 215 room at 1 Podchorążych street (2nd floor). The lecture will take place in English as part of Carlos Marmolejo’s stay as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture, CUT.
Full Professor at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB), Dr. Carlos Marmolejo is a senior researcher at the Centre of Land Policy and Valuations (CPSV) at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Architecture, City and Environment, a journal ranked in the 1st quartile of Scimago SJR and the 2nd quartile of JCI Web of Science. In 2024, he launched the EnerValor Knowledge Hub, an initiative aimed at bridging the gap between real estate and sustainability by disseminating evidence-based insights to a broader audience, and currently leads the Department of Architectural Technology across ETSAB, EPSEB, and ETSAV of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).
He has supervised 17 doctoral dissertations and over 90 master’s theses. His research spans the fields of urban studies, land economics, real estate valuation, land management, urban planning, housing policy, regional development, and the sustainability of property markets. He has published over 100 papers and more than 20 books and book-chapters.
He is a member of the Spanish National Research Council (CNEAI). He is also recognized by the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI). Additionally, he is the founder and co-organizer of the International Congress City and Virtual Territory, held alternately in Europe and the Americas. In the field of applied research, Professor Marmolejo has advised local, regional, and national governments on urban and regional planning, land management, and land valuation.
His international academic engagements include visiting professorships at institutions such as the Cracow University of Technology, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the University of Guadalajara, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has also undertaken academic visits to the University of Salford, Shenzhen, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
He is an active member of the OECD International Committee for the development of the Global Compendium of Land Value Capture Policies, participates in the European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGoVA), and holds the professional designation of Recognized European Valuer (REV).
